Hardware Installation

X20-XLR

❶	Required tool
	Screw diver	1 pc

❷	Required Accessories
	Spacer M2.5x20mm M/F	8 pcs
	Spacer M2.5x20mm F/F	4 pcs
	Screws M2.5x6mm	8 pcs
	RPI Power Cable	1 pc
	USB jumper board	1 pc
	Audio cable (Optional)	1 pc For X10-HPAMP

❸	*Push a screws (M2.56mm) up through the mounting hole on the underside of the Raspberry Pi.**

❹	*Screw the F-F spacer (M2.520mm) down until it is hand tight**

❺	a) Place the X10-I2S board on top of Raspberry Pi and Screw the M-F spacer (M2.5*20mm) down until it is hand tight . b) Remove the jumper link so it is powered by the R-core transformer.

❻	a) Plugs the DAC board straight into the X10-I2S' 40-pin header and Screw the M-F spacer (M2.520mm) down until it is hand tight . b) Plugs the X10-PWR board straight into the DAC board's 12-pin header and screw down (M2.56mm screws). c) Insert the USB bridge.

❼	Connect the power cable from X10-PWR board to Raspberry Pi pin header - Pin 4 (5V, Read wire) and Pin 6 (Ground, Black wire).

IMPORTANT !!!
Connect the R-core transformer to the X10-PWR board
a) Make sure all ports on terminal block are open (Turn clockwise to tighten, counter-clockwise to loosen).

b) Insert wires into the terminal block in the correct order.

C) Tighten down the screws the wires you have inserted. Try pulling each wire out of terminal block in order to insure that they are fastened securely.

White - White : 15VAC 0.55A
Yellow - Yellow : 15VAC 0.55A
Brown - Brown : 6VAC 0.5A
Grey - Grey : 6VAC 2.58A

IMPORTANT !!!
AC voltage Selector
110V : AC input voltage MUST be 110~120VAC
220V : AC input voltage MUST be 220~230VAC

a) Make sure that you know what voltage is being supplied by the power outlet before setting the voltage selector switch and before connecting the power cord.

b) To switch the selection, unplug the power cord and use a small screwdriver to slide the switch to the opposite position.

❿	Before pressing the power button a) All AC output wires to the X10-PWR board are wired in the correct order. b) The power cable from X10-PWR board to Raspberry Pi pin header are correctly connected. c) The AC input voltage selector switch are correctly switched.
