The X688 8-port IP KVM Switch
provides secure and convenient access to eight
computers/servers from a single KVM (keyboard,
monitor, and mouse) console. With this switch, a
single KVM can directly control up to eight
computers/servers through the internet or your local
area network (LAN). Unlike software solutions that
require installation and operate through your
server's operating system, the X688 offers KVM
control from the BIOS level onwards.
With the X688, you can effortlessly reboot, monitor
the entire boot process, and interact with your
connected systems. The integrated remote ATX power
control feature allows you to conveniently power
on/off, reset, and monitor power and storage LED
activity remotely. Additionally, the switch supports
HDMI pass-through and includes two local USB ports,
enabling both local and remote operators to monitor
and access up to eight computers/servers. Remote
users can access the switches over the Internet via
a web browser using TCP/IP for its remote
communications protocol.
The X688 also offers user-friendly switching
methods, including a browser-based UI interface and
pushbuttons that simplify the process of switching
between computers, making monitoring tasks more
efficient.

The X688 does not support
programming the Compute Module 4 with eMMC. Please
use usbboot to flash the IPKVM OS onto your CM4
eMMC, using a Raspberry Pi CM4 IO board or another
carrier board that supports eMMC programming.
